HCPC-registered Clinical Practitioner Psychologist specialising in neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental assessments
Thank you for your interest in my services. My waitlist is currently full, and I am not accepting new enquiries at this time. Please check back in the future for updates on availability.
Hello, I'm Dr Erin M. Beal, a HCPC-registered Clinical Practitioner Psychologist with a specialist interest in neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD. I provide high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming assessments that are respectful, validating, and grounded in the latest clinical and academic evidence.
I have extensive experience working across NHS neuropsychology services and my approach is shaped by years of clinical work and a strong academic foundation in neuropsychology, trauma, and psychological science.
All of my work is neurodivergent affirming — I do not pathologise difference, and I strive to create a space that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering for every client I work with.
Providing comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments with a focus on understanding individual experiences.
Comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents and adults, conducted in line with NICE guidelines (CG142) and utilising gold-standard tools such as the ADOS-2.
Following NICE guidelines (CG72) with structured diagnostic tools such as the DIVA-5, suitable for children over 7, adolescents and adults.
Integrated assessments for individuals exploring traits across both autism and ADHD neurodevelopmental profiles with detailed, supportive reports.
My practice is built on ethical foundations, professional standards, and a deep respect for neurodiversity.
All assessments are completed in accordance with NICE guidelines (CG142, CG128, and CG72), and other national best practice standards, including those set out by NHS England, the British Psychological Society (BPS), the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych), and the Equality Act 2010.
I practise from a neuroaffirmative and trauma-informed framework. This means I do not view neurodivergence as something to be "treated" or "cured." My assessments seek to understand and validate identity, not simply label.
Please note that I do not offer an emergency or crisis service.
